Contacted support a couple of times. Maybe in places like the UK this would be fine, but in the US 0f A, it will get you killed.Oh yeah, it said to turn right, which I did into a dead end street, but then it said to turn left then right.
The easiest and quickest way to solve your problem is to toggle the GPS so that it gets a chance to refresh itself.

Switching to Waze maps is the best fix on this for now.

This is usually effective when you have tried everything without success and restoring the factory defaults is the last frontier.If you’ve made it to this final point without success, you can test to see the nature of the problem with the GPS test. I had the same with my S7, but it only took one setup and was fine.
Totally horrible.
I shouldn't have to deal with this gps issue at all and I shouldn't have to send it to a repair center and be out of a phone for an unknown amount of time.
Got it to work temporarily, but same issue appears the next day.
I'm so disappointed to say that it seems Samsung is going downhill after S7.
!Tu peux d'ailleurs par exemple avec Google maps, télécharger des zones à l'avance (sous wifi de préférence) et les utiliser par la suite en zone blanche opérateurs.

Au second lancement de Waze (donc, sans redémarrage du téléphone), Waze n'arrive plus à se connecter au GPS, ou la connection met un temps important à s'établir (durée supérieure à 5 min).

Je ferme puis rouvre Waze, je n'ai plus le message "Pas de Gps" ni l'icône rouge associée mais Waze est toujours "milieu des champs". When I am driving it says " GPS singal lost" all the time too.
